Keira Chang's NEW book “How Do Ouchies Heal?” was just released today! It’s a truly wonderful story that teaches young children about the wondrous biology of what happens when someone gets an ouchie! They’ll learn about platelets and how they form blood clots, white blood cells and how they fight off invading bacteria, the way collagen supports growing tissue to replace the damaged skin, and more. The story is really cute and the artwork is absolutely gorgeous!

Keira’s personal mission is to inspire young children - especially girls - to discover STEM. She is so excited in this attempt to outdo her first book, and it would mean the world to her to have your support! Keira Chang's Next Book Comes Out on May 21!

As many of you know, Keira is a 15-year old children’s science author. Last year she released Marinara & Alfredo: How Do Rainbows Work to critical acclaim and hit bestseller status on Amazon in 4 categories including #1 in Environmental Science and #1 in Children’s Science of Light & Sound. Her book became an American Writing Awards finalist, received the Exceptional Award from the Bay Area Creative Foundation, and Keira was featured on KTVU 2 Fox News. Today she visits classrooms around the Bay Area sharing her story with young kids, teaching them science, and inspiring them to write.

I’m excited to announce that on May 21, Keira is releasing her next book titled Marinara & Alfredo: How Do Ouchies Heal, which teaches the science of what happens when you get a cut or scrape! Readers will learn all about platelets and blood clotting, white blood cells and the immune response, collagen and skin remodeling, and more!
