Community Meeting to discuss Harker Middle School Expansion next MONDAY, JANUARY Date/Time: Monday, January 27, 7:00pm- 8:00pm Location: Camden Community Center, Room 6, 3369 Union Ave, San Jose, CA Do you want to hear from the Dept of Transportation of their plans as Harker school grows? Do you want to voice your concerns? Your opportunity is here! We are stronger together. We encourage you to attend the upcoming meeting where our community will meet with city staff from San José Public Works, Dept. of Transportation, and The Harker School Representatives. Our neighbors have a number of concerns with this project, primarily related to traffic, noise, privacy, and the lack of communication from Harker. Please attend this meeting to learn more and to ask any questions you may have. A group of neighbors have come together to spread awareness about this project and ensure that our neighborhood remains a safe place to live. The group submitted appeals in December which triggered the above meeting. A hearing date for the project (where City Council members will vote on whether to approve the permit or not) has not been set but will likely be in March.
