SLG is not planning a comeback in 2026 because we never left. That being said, I will be returning to more publishing activity to celebrate 40 years of comics publishing. In the interest of thinking small, my first project is going to be a San Jose-based writers or creators group. We will meet once a month in a venue TBD and have open discussions, readings, and spots where we can promote to each other and share ideas. This is open to all writers. Please contact me via email at [email protected] to get on our mailing list.

SLG Publishing, also known as Slave Labor Graphics, is the publisher of Jhonen Vasquez's Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. We were also the launchpad for many of your favorite cartoonists including Faith Erin Hicks, Evan Dorkin, Roman Dirge and many others.

If you are one of those folks who like to get 3D prints, hang them on your wall and stare at them for hours, then go over to Kickstarter and give a boost to the campaign for Model A by Jef Bambas. It's a cool graphic novel, but even if all you want is the print it is well worth your time.
