Pensive cat wants to see your multimedia work in HELM's second annual digital issue! Email your pieces to [email protected] by THIS FRIDAY (12/8). We'll take your writing, we'll take your visual art, we'll take your songs and dances, we'll very loosely consider your memes and probably laugh. Who needs finals and apps when you can have cats and creativity?

Celebrate HELM this week through sipping tea and workshopping peers' creations! If you are interested in submitting to the digital issue or the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, this is an excellent opportunity to have your pieces reviewed by fellow student artists and writers.

Harker Eclectic Literature and Media is back for the 2017-18 school year! We will be kicking off this school year with our annual September Contest, open to all student creators at the Harker Upper School. We especially encourage multimedia submissions (i.e. sculptural, architectural, digital, video, and musical art) for this opening contest, though writing and visual art are welcome as well!

All submissions are automatically considered for HELM's digital issue (vol. 2). The 1st place winner and two runner-ups will receive special prizes!

Reminder that our ART CURATION session will be at LONG LUNCH today in Main 4 (Douglas). Come directly from P6; we will provide an intermission for lunch or finish up early, and there will be FOOD PROVIDED at the meeting.

Thank you to everyone who has submitted their works to HELM so far, and a last reminder to those who haven't: TODAY is the deadline for submissions for our annual print edition, so if you have any works (especially written pieces!) that you would like to contribute, please send them asap to [email protected]. We're excited to see everything you submit!
