It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Hank Hadley, Operations Manager of KCBX and local host of All Things Considered.

A cornerstone of KCBX since 1988, Hank kept our station running seamlessly behind the scenes while serving as a trusted, constant companion on the airwaves. From editing audio tape with razor blades in his early days to managing IT, automation systems, and hosting, Hank ensured KCBX made it to your airwaves every single day. Though he preferred working in the background, his quick wit, deep love for public radio, and dedication to our community shone through in everything he did.

Hank’s impact on KCBX, our team, and our listeners is immeasurable. Please join the entire KCBX family in remembering and honoring a local radio legend.
