eventually, thought it’d be cool to use the footage, so i pieced this together last night.

mashup cinematography reel for 2024. it’s been a wild year transitioning to full-time videography and photography. learned so much—about business, tech, people, lighting, editing, and of course, food videography (my favorite). there’s something amazing about being outside your comfort zone. it’s where growth happens. looking back, the progress and skills gained this year are surreal. excited to see where 2025 takes me.

Couldn’t wait to drop this. Been chipping away at this edit on the side for the last 5 months. Took about 80 stock clips online and threw ‘em together into this little Formula 1 mashup. Did all the editing and sound design too. Fun stuff. Enjoy!

Whispers of Vision follows a man who stumbles upon a mysterious napkin in a coffee shop. As he starts to write on it, he's transported into vivid visions of himself in serene settings. As night falls, the visions intensify, leading him on a contemplative journey through a park. Entranced by the beauty of nature, he discovers the napkin missing from his pocket, only to realize the vision is becoming his reality. Embracing the experience with love, direction, and newfound purpose, he sets forth on a transformative path illuminated by the whispers of his own vision.

I crafted a drone film that captures the essence of my family and a cherished spot in Oregon from my childhood. Through this movie, I aim to share the beauty of the places I hold close to my heart: the house that sheltered my youth and the parks that were my playground. But above all, it's a heartfelt tribute to the wonderful people I was fortunate to call family during those precious years.

This movie is dedicated to my beloved "up North" family - my love and gratitude to you all!
