Middle Ridge Studio is a log cabing recording studio located off of Middle Ridge Trail on the V6 Ranch in Parkfield, California (a three and a half hour drive from LA or San Francisco).

Back in May we had a really great afternoon with . We’ve been fans for a long time so it was great to finally get Kaya and her band up to the studio for a video session! We recorded three songs, the first of which will come out next week. Keep your eyes peeled 👀

Four great preamps on the UAD with lots of color options and some 1176 style compression on hand. The DBX is great for some lofi smash 👊

The one downside to rafters in a log cabin is coming up with a way to keep em cobweb free. At least I get to practice some aerobics

Celebrating two years of Middle Ridge Studio! This little cabin has come a long way, bringing so much great music, great people, and a whole lot of creativity into our lives. Huge thanks to everyone who has come to record and mix with us, to everyone who’s performed and attended a show here, and to our amazing neighbors and family who have been such incredible supporters over the last two years. We are pretty gosh darn lucky. Here’s to what’s ahead!
