Trash in the Port of Los Angeles doesn’t just disappear. Plastic, bottles, and other debris collect in local marinas, and now robotic vessels by Clean Earth Rovers are being used to clean it up.

Since January, they’ve collected about 2.25 tons of debris. But pulling it out of the water is just the beginning of where this trash ends up.

After 45 years, Senfuku Japanese Restaurant and Sushi, Downtown San Pedro's beloved family sushi house, closes for good on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The Kikuchi family says farewell. "We may be closing this chapter, but we aren't closing the memories," the family wrote.
