Community Media Center of Marin CMCM operates Marin TV, Marin County's own non-commercial cable TV channels.

The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM) strives to educate and advance the way residents, schools, and governments connect and strengthen our communities through media. The Community Media Center of Marin is a non-profit organization that was established to support, manage, produce, and distribute the widest possible range of noncommercial community-based media content and programs. This includ

es facilitating and managing the public, educational and governmental cable channels available on local Comcast and AT&T systems. CMCM’s purpose is to encourage and support the use of public, educational, and government access cable channels and resources among a broad range of individuals, organizations, and institutions within Marin County and to facilitate the use of the PEG access channels as a public forum to promote a free exchange of ideas, information, and creative expression. CMCM will fulfill this role by establishing, operating, and maintaining media production facilities and equipment at a Community Media Center and by providing the necessary services and resources needed to produce programming and content.

PG&E may shut off power in parts of Mill Valley, Kentfield, and San Anselmo by 2PM Wednesday, July 15 because of extreme weather forecasts and wildfire conditions.

The shutoff is expected to last through 10 AM Thursday, July 16, though the official duration is currently unknown.

What to do now:

• Sign up for AlertMarin and stay up to date at the Marin County emergency portal: emergency.marincounty.gov/

• Text ENROLL to 97633 for ZIP Code PG&E updates

• Charge phones and devices

• Stock water, batteries, flashlights

• Keep your car fueled

• Have an evacuation plan ready

All questions regarding the Public Safety Power Shutoff should be directed to PG&E via their website and (866) 743-6589. Residents should only call 9-1-1 if experiencing a life-threatening emergency.

Seniors or people with health needs affected by power loss: Call 415-473-INFO for resources.

Community Resource Centers may be available in affected areas. Check if they're active in your area: pge.com/community-resource-centers
