School is just around the corner, which means it’s time for one of my favorite annual traditions…

Opening the school supply list and immediately becoming irrationally angry. 😂

WHY IS IT SO LONG?!

12 glue sticks.
47 pencils.
Folders in six VERY SPECIFIC colors.
Three kinds of markers.
Headphones.
Tissues.
Wipes.
A partridge in a pear tree.

And you know what pairs beautifully with perimenopause?

Standing in Target, sweating for absolutely no reason, trying to find a YELLOW PLASTIC THREE-PRONG FOLDER while someone else has their cart parked sideways across the entire aisle, yelling at their own kid.

Bo is trying to follow the list.

Vo is whispering, “She can share a glue stick.”
