KSDP is owned and operated by Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting, Inc. This corporation is organized for the purpose of construction, production and distribution of programming, designed to s

erve the entertainment, informational, cultural and safety needs of the people of the South Western Alaska Peninsula and the adjacent islands. Additional Information:
Aleutian Peninsula Broadcasting, Inc. (APBI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of providing radio service to the communities of Southwest Alaska. To that end, APBI owns and operates KSDP radio based in Sand Point, Alaska and operates K201DA, an FM translator station, based in King Cove, Alaska as well as KOLD-FM Cold Bay, KFPS-FM False Pass, KKQA-FM Akutan AND KAEB 91.9FM Sand Point. The corporation is funded through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Alaska Public Broadcasting Commission, local business partners and by support from local members. APBI believes in programming as diverse as the cultures we service. Across ethnic, gender and age differences, it is the purpose of public radio in Southwest Alaska to represent each culture and, in doing so, to be a true harmonious voice in the region. APBI knows that each voice conforming to the same pattern creates unison, while those same voices, each celebrating their uniqueness, create a wonderful harmony.
