Feeders full, waterers clean, shavings clean, eggs gathered i, treats given! I'm feeling hopeful after today,
thanks to my precious kids! 15 birds shipped to happy homes.
I don't know if I'll have the energy to post anymore this week.
My inbox is filled with more messages than I can read at the moment. I will try to find time to respond to everyone. If I've not, please don't take it personally. From the hours of 8am-11am, I had 85 new messages of requests for birds. I counted them. While I wish I could be like Oprah and just give everyone one, I only had a small flock to start with. So what seems like a huge thin down to me is really nothing in the grand scheme of things. I love everyone and wish I had more to give. I will still be here as much as ever, honestly, maybe even more. I'm hopeful that once things get slowed down and I recover from surgery, I can make more silkie educational type videos. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just needing a little healing break. I will still do what I do, just on a smaller scale. That being said, if there is anything you'd like to see or learn, let me know! As long as it doesn't require me to lift anything, I can do it! Lilly would be more than happy to be a helper for a video, too! Thank you all for all your sweet words. It's definitely been the encouragement I've needed.
The silkie community is such a beautiful one. When it really matters, it really is. ❤️
