{Fall-ing in Love with Autumn} (Episode 2) "COURT-Ship in the Skies"
Location: Downtown Sandusky, Ohio

Narrative: After an evening drizzle, you can see a glow about in the skies. Quickly you retreat to your vehicle travelling down Adams street till you reach a vacant lot housing a courthouse. As you exit your vehicle you can feel the wetness on the exterior of your door as you prepare to close it. Rubbing your thumb along your 4 fingers tips, you caress them until the eventually feel dry. "SLAM"....A familiar thud is heard echoing from the street adjacent to you as you close your driver side door. Opening the rear door you reach into your nylon bag and grab the aircraft. The feel is always the same. The hard polycarbonate construction is smooth, and slightly chilled. You glide your pointer and middle fingers down both of its grooves being careful not to place your fingers within the camera lens cavity below. One by one you unfold and extend each leg until they are all unsecured. Placed on the rough surface of the sidewalk, the now powered on craft lays prostrate, silently awaiting your instruction. A button press later and the motor revs. The nylon propellors provide lift off and you ascend 100 meters above ground level. As you ascend the birds feverishly flutter away into the darkness. Meticulously you watch the alternative red and green lights flicker as the craft makes its way through the sky. You now turn your turn your attention to the moody clouds as they pass along the downtown landscape. Lovingly they embrace each other and create a courtship among the skies. Laboriously, their coalescence creates a beautiful harmony of pastel colors in the sky. After capturing their final fleeting moments in the sky, you return to your vehicle grateful for the experience.
