Narrative: A last minute decision turned out to be the best one as I headed to the Shelby Street Boat Launch. Typically a spot I simply drive past, I found myself in the midst of the Eternals Artist's glorious handy work. A fitting end to a glorious Memorial Day. Happy Memorial Day everyone.

Narrative: It's been quite a while since I have been out this way. Monroe street always seems so long, but today I had some added motivation. After arriving, I grabbed my gear and my AirPods and sat down upon the small sand stones near the waters edge. After capturing some waves and clearing my thoughts I heard in the distance....."Get some good shots?" Always a great way to start a conversation with me! In front of me was a tall caucasian fellow. Light beard, 200lbs ish with a worn brimmed hat.He was fishing with his family and began to tell me about Magee marsh in Oak Harbor. He said I should check it out for all the warblers that were present during bird week. After our delightful conversation concluded he returned moments later and said....I am going to look out for you.....there is an eagle right there sitting along the branch. After a few steps, & lo and behold was this majestic prince of the air soaking in all the activities from high above. He looked young, yet wise enough to see me coming from quite a ways away. Walking over the marsh like grass lands from the recent rains I captured this bird of prey. Ever so subtly, he would slightly move his head from time to time as if he was posing. After a quick photoshoot, I departed and was on my way. Thankful to observe this "juvenile behavior" from America's Favorite Raptor bird.

Narrative: After an evening zoom call, my eyes began to glare at the window. As if something was calling me. Making my way to the blinds, my fingers lifted one of the horizontal slats. My eyes sparkled with curiosity wondering was treasure was left over since the recent downpour. Suiting up in my gear, I found myself heading northbound on Columbus avenue, until alas I pulled over to a vacant spot on the side of the road. In front of me was the Erie County Courthouse, a lovely reddish hue, and the afterglow of Sol as she was bidding the Lake Erie shores a farewell. After grabbing my trusty 2lbs digital companion I headed over to one of my favorite parks. As I crossed the other side I could hear the blades of grass as they tore from my expeditious walk speed. My shoes began to chill, and I could feel the water creep unto the tops of my shoes as my socks begin to wet. Undeterred I arrived at the most famous fountain this side of Lake Erie, and staked my claim to some glorious warm rays &visual treasure that I felt quite proud to share.

Narrative: Last week I twas in the city and took sometime to explore this beautiful city on the Lake's edge. After parking in a relatively vacant parking lot I observed this amazing structure. The rays shining from the sun descended down upon the building gloriously, and gave this library an almost golden like appearance. Surrounding by various greens and the blue hues, the colorful array between the two was an amazing sight to behold. Spring is in full bloom, and I elevated spring in this area to a new level.

Narrative: Walking along the beach is always a peaceful experience for me. Leaving the parking lot, I quickly began walking down to the lakes edge. Past the scrubs, and the shallow patches of grass, I began making my way down the acutely sloped mounds of sand. As I take each step I watch the gulls carefully observe me from a distance. They turned their heads and whisk-fully wadldle their legs as their shadows linger upon the lakes reflection. At the shores base, the moistened dirt now lays exposed and a darkened soil creates another layer leading towards the lake. As I stepped I could feel the push back from the buoyancy of the watered enriches patches of newly exposed soil. I could see the foot steps from travelers who had preceded me, and now mine lay here as well. Alone with my thoughts, I crouch down to a near squat position, and capture some visual treasure to take with me along my travels as the sun gave its parting salutations upon a golden lakeshore.
