🚨 2025 BAOA FOOTBALL MEETING DATES!! 🚨

Our Association meetings for the 2025 season have been scheduled!

All meetings run from 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM; Most meetings are held at Perkins High School in room 301 (Enter through Administration Entrance on the South End of the Building)

2025 Meeting Dates:

Thursday, July 31st - PHS Football Field
Monday, August 4th - PHS Room 301
Monday August 11th - Fremont Ross Harmon Field; Joint Meeting with Fremont Football Officials Association
Monday, August 25th - PHS Room 301
Monday, September 8th - PHS Room 301
Monday, September 15th - Online (Link will be sent out via email)
Monday, September 29th - Cameo Pizza; Located on Monroe St. in Sandusky, OH

Week 1 is only 4 weeks away!!!

🚨2025-2026 BAOA Association Dues!🚨

The deadline to pay your local association dues is Monday, June 30th.

Either pay on our website at bayareaofficials.com or you can send a check or cash made out to BAOA to 16 Sara Drive, Norwalk, OH 44857

Any payment made starting July 1st will result in a $10 increase. Meaning it will be $60 for one sport and $70 for both.

To all the fathers in officiating. We see the long nights, the weekends on the road, and the hours spent away from home so the game can go on. Your dedication, discipline, and passion for this role often come with sacrifices, especially time with your own families.

Today, we honor not just your commitment to the game, but the love, patience, and strength it takes to be a father who gives to both sport and family. 💙

Thank you for setting the example, not just for players and coaches, but for your kids who watch you lead with integrity every time you step on the field or court.

Calling all football Officials! Make sure to register for the annual Bay Area Football Clinic!

This years clinic will be hosted on June 14, 2025 from 9 AM to 12 Noon, located at Sandusky High School.

Bruce Maurer, OHSAA Football Director of Officiating Development will be in attendance and update everyone on the new NFHS Rules, new OHSAA Gold Book Mechanics, and the OHSAA Points of Emphasis for the 2025 season.

The clinic will be primarily video. There will be lots of Great discussion. It is a wonderful way to get a “jump” on the 2025 OHSAA FB Season.

You do not need to be a member of the BAOA to attend and each official attending will receive 1 credit for a meeting attendance. There is no charge for this clinic.
