.“The Provincetown Print” tells the story of the creation of an American art form, the white-linewoodblock print.
At the beginning of WWI, a small group of expatriate artists returned to the UnitedStates and settled in the artist community of Provincetown, Massachusetts. Together, they developed the colorful white line printmaking process that is still practiced today.
Artists and Provincetown Print historians William Evaul and Kathryn Lee Smith appear in the film withPAAM CEO Christine McCarthy, artist Lennie Alickman, art historian James Bakker, and Blanche Lazzellexpert Robert Bridges.
