Meet Brandon Mendez — a U.S. Marine who lost his arm to a su***de bomber while serving his country.

We sat down with Brandon to hear his story — not just of what he’s been through, but of what’s helped him move forward. In this short clip, he shares how jiu-jitsu gave him a sense of purpose, belonging, and brotherhood again — a space where no one treats him differently, and where he feels connected, just like when he wore the uniform.
