N Fork Lewis was very pretty yesterday. But very far for basically one class 4 mini gorge. Always a good time out on the river with pops, though.

I usually post kayaking here, but many know I’ve gone into the film industry in recent years. I’ve been making films to try to establish myself and need your support on a fundraiser we’re launching to try to shoot my next film “The Dinner Party” again. On 12/27/21 we tried to shoot my next short film “The Dinner Party” up outside of Sandy, OR. Unfortunately, this coincided with a freak snow/ice storm in Portland and so where we were was even worse. Pushing through, we managed to get all our cast/crew up to our location and we were all ready to shoot… but as we were driving in that morning, our G&E/Camera truck struggled in the icy conditions and got stuck badly in a ditch on a steep hill. We worked for eight hours trying to remove the truck so we could salvage what was left of the day, but in the end night was coming and we decided we needed to postpone. The forecast was only looking worse and at that point getting everyone one off of the mountain had become a real safety concern. So—we’re trying to raise money to recoup what we lost getting everything set up to shoot… it’s quite a bit, but anything helps!

Another rad lap from the NF Mollala today with Todd. It was pretty high last time I did it, so very cool to see it at low flows. Didn't charge my camera like a dummy, but did get some dicey action we had in the steep upper section. It goes on for 6.5 miles just like this... unbelievably good!

Pretty killer lap today on the elusive Cazadero section of the Clackamas. Short and very sweet, I was thoroughly impressed and exhilarated. Fun big water Class 4 for about a mile makes it a quick and awesome run that really should be run more often!

Clip of Upper ZigZag on my first lap down those hallowed halls. I was so stoked and such a be**er. I promise you, this clip makes me look much better and the rest of the run was not quite as smooth.

Right when I was stoked to be "discovered" by Max Blackburn and wanted nothing more than to be a professional kayaker.

Thanks for all the nights letting me crash at the Beaver Lodge, it was an honor!
