I run this house.

That means I know what comes in.
What goes out.
And who’s around my girls.

Not overprotective.
Just intentional.

This is the life of The SAHD CEO.

I’m from in the Bronx, NY… you learn early how to survive.

So when life flipped and I became a stay at home dad,
I had to adjust.

Not gonna lie… that wasn’t easy at first.

As a man, you’re used to being the provider.

But then I realized something…

I’m here for moments like this.

Watching my daughter build confidence.
Learn discipline.
Feel strong.

That’s not “just staying home.”

That’s leadership.

And I still found a way to bring in income too…
without going back to that old cycle
Drop a 💪if your building something different too.

Most people talk down to kids.

But kids feel safest when you step into their world.

Eye level.
A hug.
A moment of connection.

Little moments like this build trust that lasts a lifetime.

When I was a kid…

McDonald’s meant you were having a great day.

Happy Meal toy?
Elite.

Now my kids look at me like:

“Can we get sushi?”
“What about hibachi?”

Meanwhile I’m the stay-at-home dad chef cooking dinner at home every night and they still got Michelin star expectations.

These kids different.
What’s the bougie meal your kids always ask for?

Running the house sounds easy…

Until you close the snack cabinet 10 minutes before dinner.

Suddenly you’re the villain.

The negotiator.

The snack police.

The enemy of the state.

Meanwhile dinner is literally almost ready.

Taking the trash out at 7am.

While the house is still quiet.

Before the chaos starts.

This is the part no one tells you about being a stay-at-home dad.

The small things that hold everything together.

What’s your first task before the house wakes up?

Grocery runs with my girls.

No playlist. No rush. Just us.

These are the moments that make them mine.

Building a tribe of dads who get it.

People think the flex is money.

The real flex is raising kids who trust you enough to call when life gets hard.

Being present now means they know who to turn to later.

That’s the kind of dad I’m trying to be, who else can relate comment below 👇

Sweeping hits different when you’ve got the right playlist and I’m a sucker for

Being home means I get to turn the boring stuff into core memories. Even if it’s just me, a broom, and main character energy.
