USC 1324 is a subsection of the Immigration and Nationality Act that prohibits alien smuggling, domestic transportation of unauthorized aliens, concealing or harboring unauthorized aliens, encouraging or inducing unauthorized aliens to enter the United States, and engaging in a conspiracy or aiding and abetting any of the preceding acts. Subsection 1324 (a) (1) (A) (i) specifically makes it an offense to knowingly bring or attempt to bring into the United States an alien at any place other than an official point of entry to the country.
