✨ Bittersweet and beautiful — tonight we joined Cody and Madison for their rehearsal, knowing tomorrow marks the beginning of something unforgettable. 💍

We snapped our traditional selfie (because some rituals are worth keeping!) and soaked in the quiet joy before their big day.

Tomorrow, the music will rise, the vows will be spoken and the love story will unfold in full.

From rehearsal to reception, we’re honored to walk this journey with them — crafting moments that feel true, timeless and uniquely theirs.

It’s been awhile, let’s introduce ourselves to some new friends! We’re Heather and Murphy McKenzie, owners of Sip Social Raleigh, based in Sanford, NC and proudly serving the RDU area and beyond. We launched Sip in April 2024 with a passion for creating memorable experiences, and we just celebrated our one-year anniversary this past spring! From weddings and birthdays to corporate gatherings and graduations, we love being part of your biggest milestones. At Sip, every pour is personal, and we’re grateful to be part of your special days.

💍 This Saturday – Cody & Madison say “I do,” and we’ll be there to celebrate their love story in full color.
🎓 October 18th – The Class of 1975 from Jordan-Matthews High School reunites for their 50th! The Jets are flying high, and we’re honored to help them relive the magic.
💐 November 1st – John & Lily begin their journey as husband and wife. We’ll be there to make it unforgettable.
💞 November 8th – Jacob & Haylee step into forever, and we’ll be right beside them, celebrating every moment.

Big days ahead. Big hearts behind them. And we’re just getting started.

We wrapped up our weekend with something truly special: a sit-down with Jacob and Haylee to talk through their big day and pick up their planner.

From the first hug to the final laugh, it felt less like a consultation and more like the beginning of something deeper. We’re not just helping lead their celebration—we’re becoming part of the story. Part of the family 💍💒

In the way a bride steadies her breath before walking in.
In the way a groom reaches for her hand without thinking.
In the way a room holds its breath—not for the music, but for the moment.

🍕 Business lunch done right—twice.

Living on the road most weekends—meeting couples, planning celebrations and chasing timelines—can be a grind. So when you find a place that makes you feel welcome, feeds you well and treats you like more than just a table number—you remember it. 🙌

A few weeks ago, after meeting with one of our couples, Patrick and I stopped into Mellow Mushroom in Cary for the first time. We didn’t know what to expect—but the food 🍄 was absolutely delish, the service 💬 was on point and the atmosphere 🎶 made us feel right at home.

Today, after another planning session with John and Lily 💍, we returned—and had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, the general manager. He took the time to come over, introduce himself, and make us feel truly seen. 🤝 And a special shoutout to Genny, our waitress, who brought the same warmth and care that makes this place stand out.

Huge thanks to Ryan and the entire crew at Mellow Mushroom Cary! 👏

📸 It’s been about a month since we last sat across from John and Lily—and today felt like picking up right where we left off.

Planner or no planner (it was accidentally left at home), we still got to work. The photos of what we needed made their way to us soon after and the formalities are already falling into place.

We’re proud to walk beside them, and grateful to hold this honor.

💍 November 1st is coming fast—and we can’t wait to celebrate John and Lily in front of their family, friends and closest loved ones.
