Got a little crazy with the RotoToms today. Crushed Preproduction and some drums for today. Gonna possibly hit some livestream mixing on IG of some tomorrow around lunch time maybe 🤔 If you can correctly guess which of the 31 bands it is you will win absolutely nothing but I’ll tell everyone how cool you are.

drums tracked ✅ so we’re getting the room setup for to hit some drums tomorrow. Also went ahead and got us setup for to come and rip some live pre-production here in the studio for another two tunes we’re doing on Monday . Love the flexibility of the gear in this room and the things we’re able to facilitate across both control rooms & the live room.

Prep for session #4 of the year, and I’m well aware it’s only January 4th. Stoked to be knocking out some drums for the EP has in progress with us. Still working hard & getting mixing done between sessions, can’t wait to show yall what we’ve been up to!

It was a year of growth & learning to work together to better serve our community of artists & musicians and we are better for it. The homies knocked out an LPs worth of drums this weekend. Had a fantastic time getting tones & takes with the fellas. We’ll drop a couple more vids of cooking up in the live room soon-ish but for now make sure ya hit their social & streaming pages to peep what they’ve got going on.

Drums day in the studio! The .music EP is coming along fantastic & is absolutely crushing it behind the kit. Was stoked to book this project after listening to all the demos, really happy with how this project is developing and coming to life.

Gotta brag on Anunt real quick. I (Jose) run the socials, website, etc, so most often clients will interface with me. Those of you who have worked with Anunt in the studio know how insightful & clutch he is. Anunt and I joined forces to form SpiceHouse and have been endeavoring to build up something special that serves musicians in a manner that is practical and meaningful, but also fulfilling. As we approach 1 year of SpiceHouse, I gotta tell ya, I would not have accomplished as much as I did this year without Anunt working sessions with me & being behind the scenes as well.

Libby has been enjoying the influx of new friends she’s made lately. Lots of folks nearing the end of their projects with SpiceHouse so we’re def looking to get more stuff on our books. It’s a great day to track some drums. Breaking ground on a VERY cool project today. We’re setup with some of the house favorites at the moment, but we’ll swap stuff around per usual if the tracks need it! The past few days have been real cool for SpiceHouse. We’ve delivered a lot of final masters as well as had quite a few releases go live. Another thing I’ve had the pleasure of is working with John D'Argenio to mix some of the live sets he’s filmed.

The one linked below is of CAPRA hitting the stage at the Milestone. I mixed the entirety of this show, so keep your eyes peeled for the rest of the bands. (Sub to the channel, do it to it)
