We at Crescendo House picked Labyrinth of Cinema as our first release not only because it is a masterpiece and Nobuhiko Obayashi is a genius, but also because this film represents everything we believe for a more peaceful and better world. Like Obayashi, we pray for a world where no one knows war.

Happy belated birthday to Nobuhiko Obayashi! He would have been 84 yesterday. We are so glad his work is becoming more widely recognized in the US and are honored to be able to distribute his final film.

Thank you to all of the amazing theaters who have worked with us to show Labyrinth of Cinema so far! (and a special thanks to for the envelope art!) It’s been incredible to hear about people experiencing the film on the big screen from all across the US and Canada! Here’s to another year of safely showing Labyrinth in cinemas. There are upcoming shows in Boston on 1/14, 1/15, and 1/16 and Madison on 1/21 and 1/22.
