Our club members and friends volunteered to put on an educational Victory in Vogue show this weekend at the .harborhop , where attendees were treated with glimpses of not only our uniform collections but the stories of the everyday women that wore them. Each piece tells a story of a woman who served their country during the war, and we were so happy to share them with you this Women's History Month!

This Women's History Month, our members have picked some of their favorite historic women of the US armed forces during WWII to spotlight. Perhaps they are your picks too! And as promised, don't forget to check the link in our bio to see all of our old tee designs available again once more!

Veteran: Anne Agnes Bernatitus
Anne was one of only 11,000 women who served in the Navy Nurse Corps in WWII. She was a decorated career Navy nurse who was the first American woman to be presented the first Legion of Merit for her treatment of the wounded throughout the Japanese siege of Bataan and Corregidor from December 1941-April 1942. Anne joined the Navy in 1936 and during WWII, she served on board multiple Navy vessels, and in the Philippines. She continued to serve the Navy after WWII until her retirement in 1959.
