Several months ago I surveyed you all to hear about the obstacles that are getting in the way of you taking action toward your creative goals.

- 30% of you said lack of clarity
- 16% if you said not enough time
- 28% of you said overwhelm with social media
- 26% of you said fear of what others may think
+ a few of you said lack of support

Throughout this episode I shared how I overcame these obstacles and gained the self-trust, purpose and confidence to make my creative goals a reality!

If you know you’re ready to start believing in yourself more and making decisions with clarity and confidence, so that you can stop overthinking and start taking action toward your creative goals, I invite you to apply for my 4-month 1:1 confidence coaching program by scheduling a clarity call with me —linked in bio

Boundaries is something that we tend to associate with selfishness because if you’re like me, you weren’t given the opportunity to set boundaries and when you start to do so, people may react out of the ordinary. Usually, our triggers are an invitation into getting to know ourselves on a deeper level and setting boundaries can bring up discomfort, guilt and fear and not setting boundaries can leave us feeling resentful, insecure and misunderstood. Both are uncomfortable but setting boundaries is an act of self-love and an act of love to others. It builds confidence and creates healthier relationships. No one gains anything from neglecting our own personal needs. Which first requires us to feel like we deserve time, space and respect.

You are not mean for setting boundaries, for holding people accountable and for speaking up. It’s okay to be protective of the life and joy you’ve built and the work you've done and it’s totally normal to feel discomfort when advocating for yourself. So please be kind to yourself when you find yourself in unfamiliar or uncomfortable situations. You are on your own side 🤍

If the holidays feel hard for you, know that you’re not alone. It’s okay to have conflicting feelings around this time of year. They all can co-exist. Sending you so much love during this holiday season ❤️

It’s the last month of the year and I know we’re eager to “end the year strong” (or let’s be honest, maybe just ready for a month of hybernation?)

In today’s episode, I share ways to plan around travel, creating content around my menstrual cycle, the holidays and trends to optimize my energy levels, partnerships and connection with my community.

It’s definitely not too late to share holiday content and start creating an impression with your community and your dream brands but also by recognizing that your best looks different from day to day and releasing some of the shame around productivity.

I also offer some insight on how I set boundaries with my FT job and prioritize self-care and my mental health without guilt.

In today’s episode of , we speak to trauma-focused Marriage and Family Therapist & Somatic Coach .gs

Yuritzy is an immigrant from Michoacan, Mexico and the eldest daughter in her family. Her work centers around supporting her therapy clients and community to heal their trauma by using various somatic modalities including EMDR, brain spotting, and Inner Relationship Focusing. She also incorporates intergenerational, collective, and systemic trauma analysis to support folks in their healing process.

After years of overworking and burning out in the non-profit world, Yuritzy decided to open up her coaching business. As a somatic coach, she supports change-makers connect their brain and body through somatic practices to overcome self-doubt and prevent burnout in order to share their gifts with the world, all while taking care of themselves.

Tune in to hear us discuss our personal experience with listening to our body to help heal generational trauma, and share tools for overcoming self-doubt in a system that does not benefit WOC. Link in bio 🌷

Constantly being criticized for my sensitivity, bossiness and shamelessness (chillona, mandona, sin vergüenza) caused me to develop a fear of visibility for a long time.

By nurturing my wounded inner-child and redefining the narratives that no longer served me, I was able to turn them into my super power and create amazing opportunities and a loyal online community.

Throughout the episode, I share tools on how I’ve been able to move through self-doubt and release the shame along my self-discovery and healing journey as a multi-passionate Latina entrepreneur ✨

Low sense of identity, people pleasing, fear of failure, lack of boundaries and comparison were symptoms of this self-doubt that kept me me in my comfort zone and missing out on opportunities for so long.

I hope this inspires you to keep going and celebrating your magic because being courageous is in our blood 💌

I’m baaaaack and I'm coming in hot with this episode where I share my experience with imposter syndrome as a women of color in the influencer industry, the coaching industry, and my full-time marketing role in higher-ed.

Imposter syndrome is a common term used to describe thoughts and feelings of inadequacy and inferiority despite evident success.

But what imposter syndrome fails to take into account systemic oppression failing a group of individuals instead of the other way around.

When I was able to bring awareness to this, I was able to develop tools and beliefs that helped me disempower it, lead with a growth mindset and continue taking up space, unapologetically, even in those spaces that were not designed with people like me in mind.

I hope this episode inspires you to move with a little more confidence in your everyday life and recognize that a little self-doubt is normal.

Especially when you're breaking ceilings and disrupting the status norms.

Because the truth is, no one really knows what they’re doing. We're all doing things afraid and insecure but that's not a reason to not give yourself the credit that you deserve and honor the state of growth.

If you believed you were good enough today, what would you do differently?

What would I do if I knew I may fail and STILL be okay?

Currently reading “Set Boundaries, Find Peace: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself” by and as often as I talk about setting boundaries with others, I never considered what it looks like to set boundaries with myself.

“The ability to say no to yourself is a gift. If you can resist your urges, change your habits, and say yes to only what you deem truly meaningful, you’ll be practicing healthy self-boundaries. It’s your responsibility to care for yourself without excuses.”

How can you stop betraying yourself and start honoring your personal desires?
