Stand out from the crowd & inspire your audience to connect with your website by including these 3 things:

1. Stay consistent with the details
(unsurprising coming from a designer, but stay with me!)

Minor visual details are key for building and communicating trust. This will help potential customers from feeling like your site is a little “off” 🥴 and clicking away.

Customers are looking to buy from brands that they feel connected to.

Don't be afraid to share your personal story or how your brand came to be 😊

3. Strong area Above the Fold
This is the area of a website that you see first - BEFORE scrolling.

Speak *directly* to your ideal client in this area!

TIP: Think of this part of your website like the first few lines of a TikTok/Reel - the 'hook' that keeps you *wanting* to watch more. The goal is to connect and inspire your audience to keep scrolling or take action right then!

Sometimes the idea of taking breaks is easier said than done 😅

Even when you do get some rest in, your mind is still exhausted thinking of everything you “should” be getting done on your endless to-do list - and probably feeling guilty just for resting.

The idea of hitting the “post” button again on social media is a constant on your to-do list - it's always on your mind.

You started your business because you LOVE what you do - not to stress and have your energy drained by running your brand's social media account(s) and always worrying about how your content is performing.

Let's talk about how mood boards impact your business 👀⁠

A mood board is a blueprint for your brand’s personality, vibe & overall aesthetic visual presence.⁠

✨ It’s more than just pretty images in a collage. ⁠✨⁠

One of the first things I create for our clients is their mood board (after they've completed a detailed questionnaire, so that I can do a deep dive into their business & learn their brand story.)⁠

We create a mood board for nearly every project - whether we’re working on a client's social media management, branding, and/or website design. ⁠
⁠
Why are they so important?⁠ ↓↓↓⁠
⁠
It helps establish the visual tone and direction for the project. They create a sense of cohesion with every element of your business by guiding your brand messaging & visuals – think of mood boards for your business as a rubric to reference.⁠

✷ If you are DIY-ing your own:⁠ ✷⁠
⁠
Start by coming up with at least 5 characteristics that describe the overall “vibe” of your brand, or how you want your ideal client/customer to feel.⁠
⁠
➺ For example, let’s say your are a handmade jewelry business that creates minimal nature-inspired pieces.⁠
⁠
Some keywords may include: positive, simplicity, clean lines, natural elements, calming, and earth-toned.⁠
⁠
These keywords and characteristics will help guide you while creating your mood board. Pick out & save images from Pinterest relating to your brand keywords that include textures, lifestyle images, fonts, color swatches, etc.⁠

Why do you need different versions of your logo? ⁠

Logo variations are different versions of your main logo which are still recognizable as part of your brand. ⁠

These variations allow for flexibility - giving you *options* to use depending on the format, space available & background color. ⁠

Your brand needs a minimum of 3 logo variations:⁠

1. Main Logo - Primary⁠
