The world preaches weakness. God calls men to fortitude.
Will you claim your holy ground, or let broken land swallow you?

What is up everybody, this is Reverend Joseph C. Gomez, also known as Preacher Joe, and you are listening to Renegadez: Men of Faith & Fortitude, where we help men of faith stand strong in a world that wants them weak.

We are living in a time where everything solid seems to be melting away.

You look around and see a society that has lost its moral compass, drifting further from the Truth we were raised on. It feels like the ground beneath our boots is constantly shifting, trying to throw us off balance every single day. That heaviness... that longing for the old paths where right was right and wrong was wrong? That is what I poured into this record.

My upcoming EP, "Holy Ground, Broken Land," is coming out December 23, 2025.

I wrote this because I needed to hear it.
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that even when the land is broken, the ground we stand on is holy because of Who we belong to. We don't retreat. We don't apologize for our strength. We occupy the territory God gave us.

Take that weakness and let God turn it into steel.

“Steel, Blood, and a Bible” is for the man who is done folding and ready to stand.

What is up, everybody? This is Reverend Joseph C. Gomez, also known as Preacher Joe, welcome to Renegadez: Men of Faith & Fortitude—where we help men stand strong in a world that wants them weak.

There is a quiet battle happening right now. It is in your living room, your workplace, and inside your own head. The world keeps pushing you to compromise, to soften your edges, to apologize for having a backbone. They want you docile.

I wrote “Steel, Blood, and a Bible” because sometimes you need a reminder of who you are called to be. You need something loud enough to drown out the doubt.

God did not design men to be fragile.

Look at the prophet Jeremiah. When pressure closed in, God did not hand him a soft pillow. God made him strong.

“For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls…” (Jeremiah 1:18, KJV)

An iron pillar. That is the standard. When you walk with God, your spirit becomes a fortress.

This track is an anthem for that kind of transformation. It is for the biker on a long haul, the Marine who has been in the trench, and the father holding the line for his family.
