Nine in 10 registered Asian American and Pacific Islander voters say they plan to vote in the November midterm elections, signaling strong interest from one of the nation’s fastest-growing electorates.

The 2026 AAPI Voter Survey, released by APIAVote and AAPI Data, found that intent to vote in the midterm elections has risen steadily, up from 84% in 2022 to 86% in 2018.



Karthick Ramakrishnan, founder of AAPI Data, said the findings are important because they can help community organizations better understand AAPI voters and identify where more voter education and outreach are needed.

On August 31st, Faces of Santa Clara launched with the premiere of Chapter One. Faces of Santa Clara is a community storytelling project celebrating the people, stories, achievements, cultures, and community spirit that make Santa Clara unique.

Made possible through a grant from the City of Santa Clara under the Where the Mission Meets the Moment initiative, this project brings together faces and places, past and present, through four themes:

Innovation & Technology
Sports & Olympians
Arts & Culture
Civic Leadership & Community

Whose story should we preserve?

Whose face should be part of the next chapter?
