A lot of people have been asking me if I can show them how to use their DSLR's. Well, Canon users, get the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. It's only around $100 and probably the first lens beginners should buy for excellent video/portrait quality. Beginners, try setting your mode to AV and set your F-number from 1.8 to 2.8. (The "F-number" controls how much area in your image will be in focus) :)
