Each year, hundreds of local high school students participate in Connecting to Success (CTS), a program that helps them develop the communication and financial literacy skills they'll need after graduation.
We're looking for business professionals, community leaders, and working professionals to serve as volunteer facilitators this fall.
The commitment is simple:
• Lead a 45-minute classroom session on at least one Friday this fall
• No teaching experience required
• Facilitator training and all materials provided by VIA
• Share your real-world experience with local students
Facilitators lead one of two engaging sessions:
• Navigating Communication – an interactive discussion focused on workplace communication and professionalism
• Money Smarts – a fun, Jeopardy-style game that teaches students essential financial skills
Students consistently tell us that hearing directly from professionals is one of the most valuable parts of the program. Your experience can help them better understand the skills they'll need to succeed in college, careers, and life.
If you've ever wanted to make a meaningful impact on the next generation, this is a great opportunity to get involved.
