Sammy with fellow stuntwomen. Sammy worked as a stunt double in over 20 movies. Question: "Sam, did you ever refuse a stunt?" Sammy: "No." Question: "Were you ever afraid?" Sam: "Hell YES! I was doubling Rosie O'Donnell in Another Stakeout and I had to jump off a dock into a raging river at night and I couldn't swim. I was so scared I started running and jumped before the director called "action!"

Our much beloved member, mentor, and friend Jeannie Epper, passed away last night at home. She had the heart and mind of a lion, fighting hard for stuntwomen's rights and paving the way for so many women to enter the field of stuntwork. On a spiritual level, she was such a bright light that people from everywhere would seek her out.
Our most sincere condolences go out to her many family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
