Well, we are getting the band back together for an almost–solstice stream tonight! Most of our work has been behind the scenes, but tonight we’re gonna bust out some new moves. Who knows, I may even play some notes. It will be on my twitch channel, per usual and the time will be probably around 6 PM Pacific.

I’m still out here working! Like I’ve said, I’m more focused these days on musicality and live performance. This is the new-ish PA out for a private event, and what my desk looks like after pulling out the portable mixer—my friend Aaron custom welded this desk for me many many years ago. Still works great. I’m pretty happy with having the live gear and studio gear separate. It makes for a much easier load-in/out. I’m really trying to bring down the load-in time, but it’s still at about 45 minutes for the whole thing. Want to bring that down to 30 minutes. A sound check is pretty much impossible in small venues, so having to do that live, which is pretty hard.

I’m doing another hip-hop session tomorrow night. Monday May 12, 8-9pm. I know I haven’t been on twitch very much, but I still put a lot of effort into each set. And my rumblings about coming out of the studio and doing live stuff are coming to fruition. How exciting. More on that later… But for now, it will be a Monday night hip-hop and don’t you forget it.
