“Working DJ”

Thats a funny term but it’s true. Which is even more funny because it wasn’t always so. But through the generous support of my community and dedication to my craft I’m here.

It’s pretty awesome to be able to do this thing that I love so often. Always learning always growing. I still feel “new” to DJing though I’ve been at it for some years now.

But the proof is in the pudding. They keep booking me for a reason. I’m glad they keep calling me back.

PISCES POWER!!!

Pulling tunes for this party has been fun. Stoked for the chance to rock the decks with these peeps. Sound is gonna be on point too.

My set is 9-10pm and the party goes till late.

That’s if I can shake this cold that just came outa nowhere. What the heck man?! 😪

All good though. I’m already on the mend. Drinking lots of tea and sucking down soup like it’s magic.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Hardfloor just dropped a new album. I fell asleep listening to one of the downtempo tracks last night. Such a luscious sound scape. 

I’ve already been thinking about how to incorporate some of these tracks into my upcoming sets. Of which there are many so get ready. 💃🏽 Although I don’t think the wedding I’m spinning tomorrow is gonna be the right occasion. 

Anyway, Hardfloor is one of the greats of electronic music. From downtempo vibes to banging “Acid” this album takes me straight back to the nineties rave scene. And right back to what Hardfloor is known for.

It’s like mothers milk right now. What a sound!
For anyone unfamiliar with what a Roland tb303 is it’s worth looking into.

It’s a little silver box ( hence the name of the track) that is the corner stone of electronic music today. It inspired a whole own genre of music and culture surrounding it.

Acid baby. ACID!
