For those of you who don't know, I was actually able to go on a trip to this year for my birthday, where I was about to gather content for my radio show and "Frequency Horizon" YouTube channel.

In Episode 2 of our "Guadalajara + Puerto Vallarta" series, Bernie aka RESONANT DOG takes me to meet up with Blue Lunar Monkey, who got us hyped up for Mexican waves by playing us the original
"Endless Summer" movie. I think he was stoked to learn that I live just a few blocks away from at least one of the stars of the sequel. Then, as Bernie tried (unsuccessfully) to sell some DJ equipment, we headed to the ocean.

The video starts out with a "music video" for an original techno track I made with Bernie, which features the sound of mosquitos I recorded with my Zoom recorder while up in Canada.

Today I'm debuting the 1st in a series of 4 I made about the trip I took for my birthday to Mexico last month. It was truly an amazing trip where I got to connect with a fascinating maturing electronic music culture in Guadalajara, the surf scene in the Puerto Vallarta area, passionate music producers, Indigenous culture and so much more.

In the first video, I crash my buddy Bernardo De La Torre's brother Renato De la Torre's wedding and head to Bar americas where I interview music producer Dromme.
