On Sunday, May 31st the Ivy Room will host A Mixtape For Palestine benefit concert. Featuring an array of Bay Area musicians all proceeds will go to the United for Dignity Alliance, a non-profit on the ground in Gaza delivering humanity and medical aid to Palestinians trapped in the genocide.

The name comes from a Bandcamp mixtape that features 94 different artists/songs and raised $15k for the Middle Eastern Children's Alliance, a group that helps Palestinian and Syrian children.

If you can make the concert I highly recommend buying the mixtape. It has some incredibly beautiful and powerful music and helps with a good cause that should never have been needed in the first place.

Everyone has a right to water. Everyone has a right to food. Everyone has a right to live.

This was my 4th? (5th?) Time seeing Mannequin P***y and they aren't anywhere near done with their rise. This band just keeps getting better each time I see them. Crazy to think I once saw them play in the Atrium to like 50 people. The music starts at 5:16 if you don't want to hear Marisa's speech on the current statevkf America but you really really shoulsd.
