I am graduating from Master in String Pedagogy!!!
I remember how different minded I was when I got here 4 years ago.
I was terrified of teaching kids, and had no idea how to work with them. But I was lucky enough to be settled as GA of the as part of this amazing team!
I can't put into words how thankful I am for everything I learned with them.
Laurie was always so supportive and encouraging, having my back whenever I needed it, but also being so direct into things I needed to get better about.
Rafael became a mentor to me. I admire him so much. He would always make sure I was aware of where I was and what I needed to work on in such a friendly way. I learned how deep teaching is with him.
It was a pleasure to work with Anne, all the knowledge I gained for teaching reading skills in the most simple ways will always be with me, and I will miss doing all those games with her and the kids in Music Mind Games.
OMG! Tori! When I arrived here she was just entering her String Pedagogy degree. She had my back in so many ways, and was always willing to help me with things. It was a gift to see you becoming even a better teacher across your Master degree and then receiving teaching feedback from you was amazing. But the best part was the friendship we built that will accompany me for the remainder of my life for sure!
Devin, Sean and Lisa supported me so much, especially this last year of school. I can never thank you guys enough for all your support! They also gave me insights into teaching across the degree.
It's a joy for me to see how Nia is growing as a teacher. It was really nice to work alongside with her this year and to have her friendship. She's growing to be a great teacher!
Mikel!!!! It's amazing to see how great teacher she is. First in violin, than in cello and now in viola. It feels like she can learn and teach anything! Regardless of anything she's always there to support and I really appreciate that.
The last video is my last leading of Book 2 class under guidance of Dr. Rafael Videira. I can't stress how important Lab School was especially giving me the confidence to teach! Thank you all!
