Volunteering can look so many different ways!

Yesterday I got the pleasure of taking these sweet 6 senior pups from our awesome local shelter Santa Barbara County Animal Services and bringing them on what I heard called their "freedom ride" to an amazing rescue in Ramona, Southern California called Frosted Faces Foundation who focuses on those sweet old pups

Their facility was beautiful and their team was amazing, everyone was so sweet and happy to see these pups. So glad they got a second chance at a good ending to their stories.

Since many people are under a water boil advisory local to me I figured I'd share that these items are NOT compatible!! Our local Walmart in Santa Maria, CA sells this water dispenser, but the only 5 gallon bottles they sell do not work with it. The pump can't seal to it, and the attachment ring is too small for the bottle top/threads.

We are not in the area with the boil advisory, but our apartment complex is with out water for a good portion of the day for maintenance so we got these to use for us and our pets. Now we need to get a different bottle to use the pump 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

4 week old (tomorrow) growls and gets playful for the first time. Clearly a vicious potato 😂

This is Brewster! His Mama Tessa is a beautiful girl that was a case and is adoptable at the CA Shelter. She needed an emergency c-section, 2 of 5 babies didn't make it and mama didn't produce any milk, needing a for her other 3 babies. I've had them in since a day old. 2 of those babies were too precious for earth, and joined their siblings across the rainbow bridge.

Little Brewster is now solo and is such a fun cute little dude! He will be eligible for foster-to-adopt in a few weeks after weened, and after he's neutered!
