🚨 BREAKING: Amazon Prime Air Cargo Plane Crashes in Miami

An Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft crashed today at Miami International Airport after reportedly overrunning the runway while landing.

The aircraft, operated by 21 Air as Flight 7598, had departed from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The plane struck vehicles and caught fire.

Authorities report five people were killed and five others injured, with three critically hurt. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.

🚨 Uber Announces Major Workforce Reduction

Uber announced on September 2 that it is laying off approximately 10% of its global corporate workforce, affecting roughly 3,300 employees.

The cuts mark Uber’s largest corporate restructuring since the COVID-19 pandemic as the company looks to streamline operations and reduce costs.

🇺🇸 USS Abraham Lincoln Arrives in Thailand

The U.S. Navy’s aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln has arrived in Thailand after an incredible 286 consecutive days at sea.

Carrying around 5,000 sailors and Marines, the Lincoln’s deployment reportedly set a modern-day record for consecutive days at sea.

United has announced the largest international network expansion in the company’s history, adding 10 new international cities and 13 new routes beginning as early as spring 2027.

LA’s Air Taxi Future Is Taking Shape ✈️

An Archer Aviation air taxi was unveiled at L.A. Live, the planned site of downtown Los Angeles’ first vertiport ahead of the 2028 Olympics.

Archer’s all-electric Midnight aircraft is designed to carry up to four passengers with a range of about 100 miles. The company hopes its planned L.A. network will connect destinations like L.A. Live, SoFi Stadium, USC and Hollywood Burbank Airport—potentially turning hour-long trips across the city into 10–20 minute flights.

The aircraft displayed at L.A. Live was transported by truck and has not yet been approved by the FAA for flight.

🚧 Market Street Bridge to Close for Major $148.9M Upgrade

The Market Street Bridge in Philadelphia is set to close to cars and bikes for more than a year beginning Monday 8/24 as part of a nearly $149 million rehabilitation project.

The closure is expected to last through October 2027, with one sidewalk remaining open for pedestrians. Six SEPTA bus routes will also be detoured.

When the project is fully completed in spring 2029, the bridge will feature wider sidewalks, two travel lanes in each direction, turn lanes, and a protected two-way bike lane with concrete barriers. The project will also replace deteriorated bridge sections and upgrade traffic signals and lighting.
