: Hi! My name is Valentina Richarz. I’m currently interning in the TV, Scripted Development department for Lionsgate Canada. I’ll be graduating from the RTA Media Production program at Toronto Metropolitan University this Fall with a specialization in Screenwriting and Video Production. My future goals include becoming a showrunner and starting my own production company. I love all things related to comedy, fashion, TV, and film.

This experience provides the opportunity to refine my sense of tone and genre, the art of pitching, and my approach to considering projects through both creative and commercial lenses. : Hi! I’m Hannah Etienne, and I’m a rising senior studying Creative Producing at Chapman University. I have a Public Relations minor, and finished my French minor when I studied abroad in Cannes last year. I’m originally from the Chicago suburbs and I’m currently Miss Illinois!

This summer, I’m having a blast learning how to evaluate and develop scripts with the MPG Development & Production team. As an Academy Gold Rising intern, I’m also meeting incredible people and learning so much about the industry at panels and events! : Hi, my name is Gabriel Quezada, I’m a rising Junior at UCLA studying Communications and Film. I’m a first generation Mexican-American looking to make my way into the film industry. Obviously, I really enjoy movies and if I had to pick a favorite movie, it would be Kill Bill! I’m a huge soccer fan and I support FC Barcelona and the Mexican National Team so I love talking about anything soccer related.

During my time here at Lionsgate, I really want to get to know as many people as possible and learn about their experiences working in the industry. I’m super grateful to be surrounded by so many people that are passionate about making movies so I want to see how I can learn from them and help as much as I can. I’m looking forward to making the most out of my internship and I can’t wait to keep going forward!

I am from Scottsdale, Arizona and am a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin studying Radio, Television, Film and Advertising. : Hey everybody! My name is Nicolas West, but call me Nic, I'm an incoming junior at the University of Pennsylvania where I study Behavioral Economics at The Wharton School. I'm originally from Delray Beach, FL and have always loved living on a coast so I had to try it out on the other side of the country. I love side questing, café hopping, cooking and have been doing that quite a bit this summer already. What does Pride mean to you / what causes are you interested in?

To me, Pride is about living authentically, embracing who you are, and celebrating the strength and beauty that comes from being part of a diverse and supportive community. I'm passionate about increasing LGBTQ+ representation both in front of and behind the camera because these unique voices are essential to authentically showcasing our vibrant community. Empowering LGBTQ+ storytellers ensures that young people grow up seeing themselves genuinely represented onscreen, fostering greater visibility and unity within and beyond our community. -Kat

: Hello! My name is Logan Neuschaefer, I’m from the suburbs of Chicago, and I graduated this spring from California State University, Northridge in Film Production. In my free time, I love to rock climb and bake bread. While at CSUN, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several student films and try out a number of different crew positions. But not long after I entered the film program, I found a knack for producing, specifically the budgeting and backend paperwork side of production.

I’m super excited to dive into the industry-standard financial processes that are integral to bringing movies to life and learning how to apply them here at Lionsgate. I also look forward to continuing to meet so many kind individuals and make long-lasting connections here. -Logan

: Hello! I’m Jasmine Im, a recent graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing. At Cal Poly, I served as Vice President of High School Partnerships for the Women in Business club, where I managed social media and connected with prospective students. I really value Cal Poly’s Learn by Doing philosophy, which has prepared me well for a career in marketing.

Growing up in Los Angeles, I was inspired by the entertainment industry and always knew I wanted to work behind the scenes in this field. Through this internship, I’m excited to learn more about the global content team at Lionsgate, gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects, and expand my professional network across departments.
