Every sunrise run feels like a small reminder of how lucky I am to live by the ocean!!

Lately I’ve been super intentional about keeping my meals high in protein both for marathon training and managing my PCOS (hormones need it just as much as muscles do!).

I think they’re what makes eating healthy actually easy. You don’t need to try a new recipe every day (but ofc you can if you want) or spend tons of money, just find the simple meals you love and can make on autopilot.

It’s all about repeatable meals that taste good, fuel you well, and fit your real life!!

Having go-to meals takes so much mental load off. I love having a solid rotation of meals that I know I like, are easy to make, and have at least 30g of protein to start my day.

the simple meals you love and can make on autopilot are often the best ones!! Because they fit into REAL life!! Don’t make it to complicated for yourself 🤍 & eat what makes you happy

TAPER TIME!!! After my 20-miler this weekend, today’s speedy 6 mile workout felt like a little dance party for my legs. Changing up the pace was a VERY welcomed change, and I’m honestly just so proud of how strong I felt!!

I’ve been training with for this marathon, and having a plan in place has made all the difference! It’s so nice to just follow a plan and not have to think about what you’re going to do that day. Because to be honest, if it was up to me, I’d probably go too easy on myself.

my favorite part of this training block has been my speed workouts. I’ve loved seeing myself get faster & feel stronger on my long runs because of them! Less than 3 weeks until New York so tapering starts this week (insane).

whooo hoo we did it!! Last crazy mileage run before the New York Marathon. I’m so glad I was able to peak training with this run.

I mentally felt so much stronger and I just reminded myself to ENJOY the run today. It was still a tough one & I am tired (as you can see on my face haha) but we did it!

My skin and I have been throughhhhh it.

Hormonal acne is something I’ve struggled with for years. Some weeks I think I’ve finally figured it out, then out of nowhere I have another flare-up. For so long I wouldn’t even want to leave the house without foundation on. I’ve cried over my skin more times than I can count.

If you’re in it too, you’re not alone. Your worth and beauty has nothing to do with how clear your skin is!!

It’s not “perfect” yet, and honestly, I don’t know if it ever will be. But I’ve found things that have significantly improved my skin.
