It's Tuesday and that means it's tequila tasting time again! Today we are going Organic with a Reposado called 123. Irresistible aromas of grass, mint, and piquillo peppers followed fruit and baked aromas of marzipan, orange peel, cloves and Mexican Chocolate. On the palate, there is a lot of fresh agave flavor, a lemony citrus-peel brightness followed by rich salted caramel and vanilla notes.

We started the morning with a delicious breakfast plate and then moved right on to dessert! A flourless chocolate cake with creme fraiche and a red wine drizzle from Chef Liz's dessert menu. Finishing it all off with a Clase Azul Reposado toast as we sail off into the Labor Day weekend. Cheers!!

Director Jordan Brady was a pleasure to work with and this was a touching (and hilarious!) film that Scott Burns was honored to mix.

Sharing Jordan's reflections here, one year later, as we continue to love and support the project:

"A year ago this week, I put the trailer to I AM BATTLE COMIC (now available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.) up on Facebook. Since then, the comedians and I have screened the film in several cities, donating as you know, 100% of gross earnings various charities. I've met dozens of veterans, active duty men & women, their dedicated spouses, and civilians that honor and respect those that volunteer to serve.
A film is like a child that grows up and starts a life of it's own. (Thank you monterey media inc.) I'm most proud of this one, but as life moves on the posts and shameless promotion dwindles. However the war and our deployment of troops continues. Our men and women overseas & at here home must never be forgotten. May peace prevail."
