With the beginning of #PrideMonth underway, we're proud to showcase our work for PeerHealthExchange. We designed and built selfsea, an app created for to provide answers and community for youth. For any questions around LGBTQ+, sexual health, identity and general struggles, selfsea is a safe space for navigating all difficult situations.

Throughout Team Week we saw presentations from different departments within Sidebench. Each group shared about what they do on a daily basis and how their role overlaps with the rest of the team. We left with a greater understanding of how each of us contributes to the team in a different way and how we can best support each other to find success.

Last week our team was able to re-unite in our Santa Monica office for the second semi-annual Team Week. We were able to celebrate our recent accomplishments and construct new ways that we could improve and work together as a team. Stay tuned as we share more of our Team Week experience!

The Los Angeles Department of Child Services came to Sidebench with a need for efficiency. They were spending 2 million hours a year arranging 4 million hours of Foster Child visits over 20 different offices, each operating in a different way. After repeated user tests and information gathering sessions, we arrived at a hybrid, step-based platform solution. By decreasing caseworker load and turnover, and increasing child permanency rates, we enabled the largest Foster Care system in the U.S. to save over $300 million within 10 years of implementation.
