The Women's Book Group for July, "The Turner House," was a huge hit. Everyone seemed to relate to this story of a family of 13 children in Detroit. I've worked with writers who needed a little help and some who needed a firm guiding hand. For Frank del Olmo's book, editing was a breeze. What a tremendous columnist. And, of course, editing Jonathan Gold's restaurant guides was icing on the cake.

Lonnie White did an amazing amount of research for this book published by the Los Angeles Times. Even though I didn't go to either school, it was fun to copy edit this book and learn about this rich history.

One of my favorite editing projects from Taylor Publishing in Dallas. I love projects like this that teach me so much about subjects I knew so little about. I love to dive into a project and expand my education in the process. This book by Alan Govenar was a diamond mine!
