Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my best friend and loyal companion, Lincoln. If you know Lincoln, you know he’s a sweet, loving dog who brings so much joy to everyone around him.
A few weeks ago, Lincoln was involved in a scary and unexpected accident—he was attacked by another dog. It was a complete shock, especially since it happened with a dog friend he has spent a lot of time around. The attack left him with injuries that required immediate, intensive veterinary care.
Because Lincoln is also diabetic, his recovery and treatment are much more complex. Managing his blood sugar while treating his wounds, monitoring for infections, and balancing new medications requires constant supervision and ongoing vet visits. The continuous medical expenses, emergency treatments, and specialized prescriptions have added up very quickly.
We have set a goal of $10,000 to help cover:
Emergency Vet Care & Surgery/Wound Care: Immediate medical interventions following the attack.
Ongoing Medications & Diabetes Management: Insulin, pain management, antibiotics, and daily care supplies tailored to his condition.
Follow-Up Visits & Rehabilitation: Specialized vet monitoring to ensure his diabetic levels stay stable while his injuries heal completely.
Anyone who has a pet knows they are family. Seeing Lincoln go through such a traumatic event while managing a chronic condition has been incredibly tough, but he is a fighter and working hard to get back on his paws.
