Something new is quietly blooming here. 🌸

Over the past few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to create a small, meaningful space just north of Milton for life’s most important promises.

A simple place for micro weddings, elopements, vow renewals… and maybe even a surprise proposal or two.

We’re calling it The Flower Cottage.

It’s still taking shape, but we couldn’t resist sharing a little glimpse today. More details will be coming soon for couples looking for an intimate and affordable way to say “I do” here in Santa Rosa County.

Sometimes the most beautiful weddings are the simplest ones. 💍

Florida Panhandle Media recently sat down with Vernon Compton to talk about protecting Santa Rosa County’s natural lands, restoring the longleaf pine ecosystem, and the work being done to conserve these landscapes for future generations.

As part of the efforts supported by the Longleaf Alliance, over 1,200 acres near Naval Air Station Whiting Field and around Santa Rosa County have been preserved — helping protect wildlife habitat, improve ecosystem health, and create opportunities for future trails and outdoor recreation.

Had an incredible filming session today at **Retro Ink Tattoo Studio on Highway 90 in East Milton, Florida**. The cameras *literally overheated* from the explosion of color, creativity, and energy in the shop!
