When I became aware of the Building Doors VO campaign that Christy Harst Rodriguez launched, I was in awe that this incredibly talented woman would create a platform for OTHER female VO talent to be featured; thus creating opportunities for them to be seen, heard and possibly hired.
Then Christy called and asked if I wanted to be part of the Door Builder community and after composing myself, answered with a resounding "YES"!!!
Given her BD mission is all about women being included in the same projects as men, this spot, sponsored by Verizon was my first choice in supporting the inclusive message of this campaign! (Verizon, can you hear me now?)
As for the Lexus spot, a former acting coach once told me "Cheryl, you can ask for a Tonka Toy (no shade being thrown at Tonka…I just can’t drive one😉) or you can ask for a Lexus. Which one do you envision for yourself!"

With Biden announcing that he's stepping away from pursuing a second term, and is now endorsing Kamala Harris for the Democratic nominee, I imagine for all the Democratic ad agencies, and the Democratic National Convention it's a bit of a holy “we’ve got to re-work all of our ad campaigns” moment!
I invite you to listen to the spec spot I produced on behalf of Kamala and then you decide if I’ve got that “it” factor for your next ‘Kamala for President’ campaign.

Hello friends,

Some of you may be aware of a rather unsettling revelation that came to light last year about a formerly well respected voice actor and coach. I was one of the people that was affected by this persons behavior and thus was included in the Vocal Victims Advocacy Group.

Much has been going on since that revelation to rectify the fallout of those affected and one such very positive outcome is the upcoming Pay What You Can fundraiser.

Voice Actor Powerhouses/NAVA Board Members Carin Gilfry, Maria Pendolino, and Tracy Lindley have generously offered to host a NAVA-sponsored workshop called Lady Boss Power Hour on Thursday, July 11, at 4pm PST/7pm EST, to help raise funds for this cause.

Funds raised will go towards the group's legal efforts, in the hopes of helping recover more funds for those affected.

Last November I was contacted by one of the producers of this delightful new educational series, 'Smudge', from Alane Adams Studio, off of my animal demo (yes I actually have one) to be one of the voices of the Bird.
