🐗 A zoo in Spain just welcomed three newborn warthog piglets. After spending their first few weeks indoors with mom, they're now starting to explore the outdoors with the rest of their family. And yes, they're surprisingly adorable... for warthogs.

❤️ A Michigan family recently celebrated their late daughter Emily's graduation in a truly powerful way. Emily passed away at 16, but her decision to become an organ donor saved multiple lives. Several of the recipients traveled from across the country to thank her family in person, including a teen who received her heart and a child who received her kidney.

🚲 Two Iowa teenagers are being called heroes after spotting an elderly woman during a bike ride. She had fallen while feeding her horse and had been stranded outside for more than 16 hours in extreme heat. The boys quickly called for help, and authorities say their actions likely saved her life.

🗑️ An Ohio man accidentally threw away a lottery ticket worth $100,000. Luckily, garbage pickup hadn't happened yet, so he dug through the trash and found it. After taxes, he still walked away with nearly $73,000. Not a bad payday for a little dumpster diving.

🌊 Meanwhile, crews in Los Angeles are cleaning up local waterways ahead of the 2028 Olympics. A device called the "Interceptor" is already pulling hundreds of tons of trash out of Ballona Creek, helping keep debris from reaching the ocean.

🐶 And in Milwaukee, sanitation workers discovered a starving dog buried inside a garbage bin during their route. After rescuing him and getting him the care he needed, one of the supervisors adopted him. The pup, now named PJ, has a loving forever home.

In Canada, a woman was woken up at 3 a.m. by a frantic 12-year-old boy whose father was having a heart attack. Following instructions from 911, she performed CPR for about 10 minutes until paramedics arrived, helping save the man's life.

🍋 In Kansas City, police responded to a complaint about two young brothers running a lemonade stand. Instead of shutting it down, officers bought drinks and snacks and encouraged other first responders to stop by too. The boys ended up making about $280 in just half an hour.

🎓 And 72-year-old Irma Garcia just achieved a lifelong dream by graduating from George Mason University. After spending decades working multiple jobs and raising her family, she finally earned her degree in public administration.

Good news from the animal kingdom and the medical world today:

🐾 A baby coyote in Arizona was found covered from head to tail in hundreds of painful cholla cactus spines. Wildlife rescuers spent more than two hours carefully removing every spine, and the little pup is now recovering and doing much better.

🦅 An endangered California condor just made history by flying into Oregon for the first time in 122 years. The condor, known as B9, traveled about 380 miles in four days before returning home to Northern California. Experts say it's a hopeful sign that condors are beginning to reclaim parts of their historic range.

🔬 Researchers have announced promising results from a new cancer treatment. A personalized cancer vaccine combined with immunotherapy helped reduce the risk of melanoma returning and significantly improved cancer-free survival rates. Scientists believe this approach could eventually help treat other difficult cancers as well.

In Oklahoma, a family took in a stray cat that later had five kittens but they soon discovered a sixth “kitten” in the litter was actually a bunny. Surprisingly, the mother cat accepted it as her own and cared for it right alongside her kittens. All the animals are healthy and doing well.

In Memphis, a woman found a 3-year-old girl wandering alone in the street and immediately pulled over to help. She stayed with the child, kept her safe, and used small clues to help reunite her with her parents. She said, “It takes a village,” explaining why she stepped in.

In British Columbia, a baby moose was stuck on a busy highway until traffic stopped and a man helped lift it over the divider. The calf safely made it back across the road and reunited with its mother.
