as a newbie, i'll gladly take 1min 42.8sec as a "personal best" ! this was during lap 6 of session 2 for my very first track event held by SoCal Drivers Club • SDC at Willow Springs Raceway with some coaching by Michael Ryan Johnson !

i definitely know that i can do better next time, kept it easy on myself the second session after spinning out so early during the first. it was sooooo hot and sunny so i definitely should have prepared better than how i arrived. i'm extremely grateful to have started my first (and possibly only) track season with an amazing group to help/support me.

during the session, i got to run SDC's data rig to review and learn during our beginner's coaching sessions. plus, my VIOFO Dashcam Official A329S caught some interior POV of my PB !

to the rest of this 2026-27 season, here we go !
