The heat made our live video cut out. Here’s the video we have of Sapulpa Soldier Greg Morales coming home. The combined efforts of TCSO, CCSO, SPD and SFD gave this soldier a hero’s welcome.
Family and friends pay their respects to Pvt. Gregory Morales with a balloon release and candlelight vigil at Kelly Lane Park on Saturday evening. Morales’ family is still waiting on his status to be changed from “deserted,” and on his autopsy results before they can bring him home. His mom says by the time he gets a proper funeral, he will have been missing a year.
Sapulpa Times started in 2015 from a desire to give the community a modern online outlet for local news and events. Within the first year, we became the most widely-read locally-produced news outlet in Creek County.
We’ve stayed true to our mission to serve Sapulpa and surrounding communities by continuing to release new products:
SapulpaTimes.com - local news people and events happening in Sapulpa and surrounding communities.
SapulpaJobs.com - hire local talent and keep your employer dollars in town.
ShopSapulpa.com - stay updated with the latest news and deals from Sapulpa’s businesses. (Also check out the popular Facebook Group)
And in 2018 we shattered expectations by launching a bonafide print newspaper. You can subscribe at SapulpaTimes.com/subscribe
