Why sourdough?
Because food was never meant to be rushed.
Slow fermentation, simple ingredients, and intentional care make a difference you can taste—and feel.

Once I learned what real bread was meant to be, I couldn’t go back.

Sourdough Tip Tuesday 🍞

Did you know sourdough bread actually gets better after it cools completely?

Cutting into it too early lets steam escape and can make the crumb gummy.

✨ Pro tip: let your loaf cool at least 1–2 hours before slicing for the best texture and flavor.

We’re working hard behind the scenes today at Joyous Baking!
We have the privilege of mixing and baking 18 dozen cookies that will be heading out the door tomorrow.

And that’s not all—by the end of this week, we’ll have another 12 dozen cookies going out on Friday.

Not to mention the bread orders!

How great is our God?! 🙌
What started as a simple sourdough hobby has grown into something far beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m so thankful for every order, every customer, and every opportunity the Lord continues to place in front of us.

We are honored to have the opportunity to make cookies for a church in Sapulpa!
Their Christmas party is tomorrow night and they trusted us with 9 dozen cookies for their event!
They’ll have these beautiful sugar cookies, chocolate chip and cranberry pecan!
