Handsome Finds His Forever Home! 🐶🏡
When Handsome arrived at Satchel’s Last Resort in 2020, he was tough, wary of both people and animals, and difficult to introduce to new friends. But with time, patience, and dedicated volunteers, he began to trust again.

Then came Roger and Kara, a couple looking to volunteer at Satchel’s. Handsome caught their eye, and after months of visits and careful introductions—including to their dog, Freya—the bond was undeniable.

During Hurricane Milton, Roger and Kara took Handsome in as a storm foster… and never let him go. Now, he’s officially part of their family, living his best life in his forever home! ❤️
